Busted est un groupe anglais de pop rock qui a existé entre 2001 et 2005, composé de James Bourne (chant, guitare), Matt Willis (chant, guitare basse) et Charlie Simpson (chant, guitare et batterie).

Le groupe a remporté beaucoup de succès au Royaume-Uni. Les deux premiers albums, "Busted" et "A Present For Everyone" ont atteint le numéro 2 au Royaume-Uni, et tous ses 8 singles sont entrés dans le "top 3", dont quatre se sont trouvés au "numéro 1".

Aux États-Unis, la vie n'était pas si simple. Le groupe a tourné en Amérique, mais le public n'y était pas interessé, ce groupe anglais étant trop similaire aux groupes américains, desquels il s'était insipiré.

En janvier 2005, après l'échec en Amérique, le groupe s'est séparé, après le départ de Charlie Simpson, qui a formé un nouveau groupe, Fightstar, un projet de rock hardcore très différent de la musique que jouait Busted. Charlie a prétendu en avoir assez de l'image "stupide" qu'il donnait de lui-même. Il a cependant précisé que ses deux comparses restaient ses meilleurs amis. James Bourne joue maintenant dans Son Of Dork, un groupe de pop punk, tandis que Matt Willis s'est lancé dans une carrière solo.
